A collaborative statewide partnership dedicated to increasing adult immunizations through education, networking, and sharing innovative and best practices.

Immunizing adults can decrease health care costs and substantially reduce morbidity and mortality from vaccine preventable diseases.

MDPH Releases COVID-19 Recommendations for 2026-2027 Season

Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidance for the 2026/2027 respiratory illness season for COVID-19 vaccine, flu vaccine, and RSV immunization. These recommendations are aligned with evidence and guidance from the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Association, Vaccine Integrity Project, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, and Infectious Diseases Society of America.

The conference will be held on November 4, 2026 from 8:00am – 4:00pm. The full-day pediatric conference will provide up-to-date information, with an emphasis on current immunization recommendations and general immunization updates. /p>

MAIC has partnered with the Massachusetts Vaccine Confidence Project to offer a new program through Vaccinate Your Family to increase vaccine confidence in your community and connect people to vaccination services. This program is called the Vaccination Community Learning Program and offers free, engaging, and easy-to-use training. Topics include: Vaccination Foundations, Vaccine Science & Safety, Building Vaccine Confidence, and Overcoming Vaccination Barriers.
